Getting around Olomouc
Olomouc is easy to reach by train, bus or car. Public playings of competition works will take place at the Palacký University Art Centre, just a few minutes' walk from Horní náměstí in Olomouc.
Transport by train and bus
The main train station in Olomouc is around 25 minutes by foot from the Art Centre. The trip from the bus station will take you 40 minutes on foot, but check which train station your bus stops at. RegioJet buses depart from the street Jeremenkova by the main train station.
Transport by car
There is a pedestrian zone in the centre of Olomouc, with parking permitted in the surrounding streets following payment at a parking machine, by SMS or through a web application. We recommend using public underground garages, which you can find on the streets Hanáckého pluku, Jeremenkova and Palackého. You can also park for free for the first four hours at Galerie Šantovka. Public transport in Olomouc
To take public transport in Olomouc you must procure a valid ticket – your festival accreditation is not valid as a ticket. The fastest way to buy a ticket is by SMS containing the text "DPMO", which you send to the telephone number 90206. This ticket will be valid for 50 minutes on weekdays and will cost you CZK 18. The closest stop to the Art Centre is Náměstí Republiky and you can get there by trams 2, 3, 4 and 6.

The closest airport is found in Ostrava – unfortunately you cannot get any closer by plane.
