Tradition of radiobroadcasting

I find the Festival Prix Bohemia Radio the most prestigious competition of radio programmes and genres not only of these days but also with regard to 85th anniversary of radio broadcasting in our country, which means the oldest and richest tradition just after the British one.
And since the Great Britain has been a good inspiration for us and each year of the Festival Prix Bohemia Radio should bring something new, I decided to introduce a new tradition of awarding the best foreign reporter Karel Kyncl's Prize. I believe that this will contribute to even better knowledge of world events we are involving in more and more intensively.
